Obedience of Faith

Cease from your striving. Be still. Calm your anxious mind. Let your own hand fall away. Stop fighting and know that I am God.

I read a post today from Havilah Cunnington. “Value what others sense, because your gift is strongest in community.”

For someone who struggles with anxiety, the statement “Our lives move in the direction of our strongest thoughts,” doesn’t bring comfort.

I didn’t grow up in church. I didn’t have a foundation in Him. I just knew I had never felt what I felt when I first met Him and wanted more

Today I had an encounter with Jesus. It impacted my spirit and pulled at my heart. Suddenly, I had a desire to make a change and respond.

Do you want to live in safety? Do you want to feel at ease? Do you want to live without fear of harm? Listen to Wisdom! Listen to God!

There are many ways God speaks. For millennia, His speaking voice has resounded across the nations and generations. He spoke, and He speaks.

God designed you to hear Him speak. He has given every person the capacity to hear Him. Just that one fact alone is incredible to ponder.

“How can I hear God?” and “How can I be sure it’s God?” I believe we hear God far more frequently than we realize.

Trust in the Lord doesn’t come naturally or easily, if we’re honest.
